The smallest of our Sea Kayaks the Pacifica is a highly versatile day tripper strongly recommended for use in lakes, rivers, estuaries and calm seas.

PACIFICA is a highly versatile day tripper-style kayak. It is designed specifically for North America's millions of birdwatchers, naturalists, and outdoor photographers; and for those people who simply want to mess about in boats. Performance is not an issue. This small touring kayak can handle the roughest conditions, yet it cruises nicely at an easy touring pace. PACIFICA fits a broad size-range of paddlers and has been designed to be extremely use friendly.

At 4.1m in length, PACIFICA is the shortest of Current Designs kayaks. With its fish-form, shallow-V hull design this small kayak offers tremendous stability with a long "easy to enter and exit" cockpit with built in thigh braces. The stern bulkhead and a generously sized stern hatch make storing gear easy. The moulded bow buoyancy tank gives the boat adequate flotation in the event of a capsize. PACIFICA is decked out like all the other Current Designs boats with full deck rigging and a perimeter safety line.

PACIFICA is actually the Roto moulded sister ship of the Pachena, a Current Designs model which has gained a popular following over the last five years. Because of the broad appeal and great value the PACIFICA is one of the most popular Current Designs models. (Pacifica is named Breeze outside of Australasia).
